Spots & Stripes

This card was on the table for already four days or so, but this evening I finally finished this one. Another birthdaycard, with which I'd like to join the "spots and stripes" challenge of Artistic Inspirations. 

Nadat deze kaart al vier dagen op tafel lag, heb ik hem vanavond ook daadwerkelijk afgemaakt. Een verjaardagskaart waarmee ik graag mee doe aan de "Spots and stripes" challenge van  Artistic Inspirations.

Have a nice trip!

During my nighttime blog-hoppin' last night I got inspired by the cards made by Jodi on Stamping A Latte and by Maureen on Buttons & Bling. I think the style of both girls is great and wanted to try something alike myself. So here's my card with these gorgeous Docraft papers. I used the sketch of CAS(E) this Sketch! challenge #52 to start with and ended up with using different materials as embellishment. 

Tijdens het bloghoppen vannacht kwam ik langs de blog Stamping A Latte van Jodi en by Maureen ik keek ook bij Buttons & Bling van Maureen. Ik raakte helemaal geinspireerd. Dus ik heb me door haar stijl laten inspireren en daar is deze kaart het resultaat van. Ik heb de sketch van CAS(E) this Sketch! challenge 52 gebruikt als uitgangspunt en heb de kaart verder afgemaakt met embellishments van verschillende materialen.

Second try on a CAS card today and I think this one worked out pretty well. What do you think? I'd like to enter challenge #25 of Addicted to CAS with this card, for which you had a to make a card using only one layer.

Tweede poging vandaag tot het maken van een CAS kaart. Ik denk dat deze al een stuk beter gelukt is. Wat denken jullie ervan? Met deze kaart doe ik graag mee aan  challenge #25 of Addicted to CAS, waarvoor je een kaart moest maken met slechts één laag.

For this CAS one I used some different kinds of ink in this one, to make it interesting. Didn't use any copics or so this time, although I like coloring a lot and missed it a bit. I find it still pretty hard to make a CAS card which is both clean and interesting, but I hope this one will do for you. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Weer eens een poging tot een CAS kaart. Ik heb een paar verschillende kleuren gebruikt om de kaart interessant te maken. Deze keer heb ik geen copics gebruikt, ondanks dat ik wel graag kleur. Ik miste het dan ook wel een beetje, haha. Ik vind het nog steeds lastig om een CAS kaart te maken die zowel eenvoudig/clean als interessant is, maar ik hoop dat dit in de buurt komt. Mocht je tips voor me hebben, laat het weten!

HapBee!

Hi everyone! I almost began thinking about going to sleep, but then I was suddenly crafting again :P So here's the result. To join into the challenges of the Brown Sugar Challenge Blog ("Things with wings") and Chocolate, Coffy & Card Challenges ("Bugs and little critters"), I used this Bee stamp from Stampendous!. A small but happy stamp, which can easily be used several times on one single card. Also used some stickles again to add some more glitter to the card.

Hay iedereen! Ik zat er al bijna over te denken om naar bed te gaan, toen ik opeens toch weer aan het knutselen was :P Dus hier dan het resultaat. Om met de challenges van Brown Sugar Challenge Blog ("Things with wings") en Chocolate, Coffy & Card Challenges ("Bugs and little critters") mee te doen, heb ik gekozen voor deze bij stempel. Een kleine, maar zeer blije stempel die je makkelijk meerdere keren op één kaart kunt gebruiken. Ik heb ook nog weer wat stickles toegevoegd voor wat extra glitter. Goed, een fijne avond nog en leuk dat je wat rondkijkt op mijn blog!

CAS birthday card

This is one of the other stamps I bought yesterday on the KREAdoe craft event. This time I made a CAS card. I hope the bright colors will do the job for this card :) As a special eye-catcher I used some Glossy Accents from Ranger, to give the balloon a 3D gloss. I hope you like it!

Deze keer heb ik een van mijn andere stempels gebruikt die ik gister op de KREAdoe heb gekocht. Dit is een CAS kaart geworden. Ik hoop dat de vrolijke kleuren de kaart maken. Als blikvanger heb ik de ballon ingevuld met Glossy Accents van Ranger. Hierdoor krijgt hij een glimmend 3D laagje. Ik hoop dat je het leuk vindt!
