Feeling Sketchy - a new stamp

I was already laying a jigsaw puzzle tonight, when I decided to also do some crafting. Since we have only one big table in the house, I just put my craft stuff on top of the puzzle, haha. I think I might need one of those big craft plates to work on. Or a store case for a puzzle would be suitable as well.

For this card I used my newest stamp set. It's from My Favorite Things and consists next to this cute girl of a even more cute doggie with a balloon at its tail. Really need to try that one soon!

For the layout I used the sketch from Feeling Sketchy (#49). I'd also like to join the following challenges:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Get well soon ("Beterschap means Get well")
All Dressed up- Love inspired (and I think a get well card is made and send out of love :) )

Today I like to enter this card for the Sketch Saturday challenge. For this card I used one of the tips I saw lately: color your pearls with copics in any color you want. It really works good!

Lifting

This morning I visited the Lift Challenge blog. They have a card that you should 'lift'. A fabulous price is provided by Bij Oma Dee, one of my favorite shops, so I really needed to join this one! I did this by using different design paper, a flower instead of a banner and altering the layout a little bit. I tried to keep the different elements. Since I don't have such large sentiment dies, I used a stamped one. I hope this is still fine to join!

Valentine

My first Valentine's card. Since I just ordered these die-namics, I just had to make one. I really love the black cardstock, which has a kind of glimmer on it. I hope you like this one too and I wish you a nice evening!

I'd like to join the following challenges:

Flourishes Boutique - Red & Love
Cuttlebug Mania - Touch of red

Drawing some flowers

This afternoon I wanted to make a card for my mother, since our cat died this morning. How sad... I used the sketch of Sketch N' Dies to join their first challenge. This morning I was wondering around at websites about zentangling and doodling, so I gave it a try myself. Maybe not real 'zentangle', but still fun to use a self-made drawing for a card!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:
Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge - #14 Flowers
Delicious Doodles - Die cuts or punches

Dies: Marianne Design Craftables
Coloring: Copics

Flowers

Another I made tonight. For this one I didn't use stamps, only my Big Shot and one of the dies that come with the starter kit. I lifted it up with some Stickles et voila!

I'd like to enter:
Cards Calore Encore - Add at least one element of bling
Rogue Redhead - Paper Piecing

Saturday Sketch

This Saturday started with an awful lot of sleep, which was pretty nice. Then the coming hours I spend on cleaning the house, doing the groceries and all that kind of dreary but nevertheless necessary stuff. And finally, late in the afternoon I found some time to spent on crafting. Yeeh!

For this card I used this week's sketch from Sketch Saturday. Looking around at Melissa's blog really made me want to use this stamp, so here it is. I tried to use a similar 'dot'-technique for the dragons as she did. I think I might need some different colors for the hair, maybe some YR colors. Unfortunately I have only one YR color yet, so I decided to stay with the Y colors for this one.
