A second card this weekend, a little more CAS this time, I guess. I think it's difficult to find the right balance between embellishments, image, and empty space in such a card. How to make it interesting enough, while still being clean and simple? But I'm pretty happy with this one!

Hello Weekend

This card was made with as a base a Project Life card. I love all the cards and designs that come with Project Life kits, but I don't seem to be that kind of photo-girl. I actually hardly take any pictures of my life and I don't really have the ambition to do so, but... I still wanted to use these cards! Well, in the meantime I found other applications for them, like pocket letters for example, so I'll expand my collection soon I guess. For now I used one of the larger Project Life cards as a base and colored a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp with my copics. I added some die cuts and voila c'est ca!

With this card I'd like to join the Koffee Krop Challenge #1 (Paper Piercing) at Kraftin' Kimmie!

Saturated Canary

This weekend I made a card with an image by Saturated Canary. I'm quite happy with how the hair and skin tone turned out! Need to buy some extra E copics though, as I miss my E33 for example. For this card I used some gloss to make the balloon pop.

My Best(ies)

While watching an online tournament, I colored up this sweety by Sherri Baldy, from the My besties series. It's the first time I colored one of her images, but they're really amazing, with these long hair curls and nice clothes. Might do some more in the near future! The design paper that I used for this colorful card is from Echo Park, one of my favorite brands of paper. 

Relaxing

I started my day with making this card for a colleague of mine. It works best if I start at the beginning of the day making cards. More inspiration, more motivation. This image is by Marianne Design.

World of Wonderful Wednesday

A new project to join the Kraftin' Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday. I love this World of Wonder set, as it is great to color and it combines really well with some of my paper pads. This is a This & That paper pad, and actually the front page of the paper pad (that shows all the different designs in the pad) inspired me for this background.

Graduation tag

Tomorrow one of my friends will graduate, so I made him this tag. Still have to buy a present though. The tag is covered with paper from a gift bag and a clear stamp of the Pure Innocence series by My Favorite Things.
