It has been quite some time ago that I posted here on this blog, but today I'm back with this card for my sister, who just bought a new house. They searched and found! So that's where the idea for this image comes from. For this card I used the sketch by Kraftin' Kimmie and the image is also theirs!

Tiddlyspiration

Ready to join the Tiddly Inks challenge #tiddlyspiration! Love this image and used it for this card to send to my grandparents, as they are moving tomorrow to their new appartment. 

The bright side of life

A few days ago I did some shopping at a store new to me and found this funny bird. From the heart stamps has lovely and crazy stamps, perfect for crafting! I loved the little akwardness and the funny sentiments that go with it, so today I gave it a go. The design paper is from my favorite brand Echo Park.

Penguins!

I totally love this image by Tiddly Inks, especially because of those cute penguins. I colored it with my copics and made card by combining different Echo Park papers from the set Bundled Up. With this card I'd like to join the Tiddly Inks challenge 171!

Echo Park Christmas

Today I made a second set of christmas cards. I really enjoy making these sets of cards. For this set I used Echo Park's last year's christmas design papers, they are great!

Christmas card set

Made my first set of Christmas cards. I wanted to have an easy layout, in order to make more than one card. It would be nice to send all of my friends and family a card and not just a few, wouldn't it? So here's my first set!

Curly crafting

After starting again on my coloring classes (I highly recommend these Kit & Clowder technique classes, they are awesome and really high quality!) I couldn't resist joining the monthly facebook technique class challenge thrown by Alyce from Kit & Clowder with this image by Yam Puff. This month she challenged us to practice our curly hair skills, so here I go! Since I also used one of the fabulous sentiments by Kraftin' Kimmie, I'd also like to join their challenge.

Krafty Tiddly Inks

The current challenge at Tiddly Inks is a krafty one! So for this card I used a kraft card as a base and I used one of my favorite Tiddly Inks stamps. I love the hearts die by Marianne Design, it's so sweet and you can use the hearts as well on other projects.

Crafting Sunday

It's crafting sunday! My sister came over to craft together, so here's my first make of today. I used a stamp by  Rachelle Anne Miller, some Echo Park design paper and the sketch showed on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog. With this card I'd like to join their Saturday challenge, with the "circles" theme.

A second card this weekend, a little more CAS this time, I guess. I think it's difficult to find the right balance between embellishments, image, and empty space in such a card. How to make it interesting enough, while still being clean and simple? But I'm pretty happy with this one!

Hello Weekend

This card was made with as a base a Project Life card. I love all the cards and designs that come with Project Life kits, but I don't seem to be that kind of photo-girl. I actually hardly take any pictures of my life and I don't really have the ambition to do so, but... I still wanted to use these cards! Well, in the meantime I found other applications for them, like pocket letters for example, so I'll expand my collection soon I guess. For now I used one of the larger Project Life cards as a base and colored a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp with my copics. I added some die cuts and voila c'est ca!

With this card I'd like to join the Koffee Krop Challenge #1 (Paper Piercing) at Kraftin' Kimmie!

Saturated Canary

This weekend I made a card with an image by Saturated Canary. I'm quite happy with how the hair and skin tone turned out! Need to buy some extra E copics though, as I miss my E33 for example. For this card I used some gloss to make the balloon pop.

My Best(ies)

While watching an online tournament, I colored up this sweety by Sherri Baldy, from the My besties series. It's the first time I colored one of her images, but they're really amazing, with these long hair curls and nice clothes. Might do some more in the near future! The design paper that I used for this colorful card is from Echo Park, one of my favorite brands of paper. 

Relaxing

I started my day with making this card for a colleague of mine. It works best if I start at the beginning of the day making cards. More inspiration, more motivation. This image is by Marianne Design.

World of Wonderful Wednesday

A new project to join the Kraftin' Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday. I love this World of Wonder set, as it is great to color and it combines really well with some of my paper pads. This is a This & That paper pad, and actually the front page of the paper pad (that shows all the different designs in the pad) inspired me for this background.

Graduation tag

Tomorrow one of my friends will graduate, so I made him this tag. Still have to buy a present though. The tag is covered with paper from a gift bag and a clear stamp of the Pure Innocence series by My Favorite Things. 

MAG-nificent!

It has been quite a while ago that I posted my latest card here. But here I'm again and I hope I can spend some more time on crafting the coming weeks! This card is made with a rubber stamp by Kraftin' Kimmie and my copics. I really should spend a lot more time coloring, but the thing is... sometimes I'm busy with other things (*buzzz priorities buzzz*) and sometimes, I just don't feel like getting all the stuff out on the table. Maybe stupid, but true ;).

Friendship

Last month we had a card swap in the Kit & Clowder facebookgroup. This is the card I made for my swap partner and she happily received it! And I also received an amazing card from her, it made me really happy. So now it's finally time to show it to you all, as I forgot to make an image before I sent it.

Rock Star

This pinkish card was inspired by the moodboard challenge in the Kraftin' Kimmie Facebookgroup. I really like the combination of pink with yellow! I'm also quite happy with how the coloring of the sentiment turned out.
